Group size

A party supports up to 10 people, including the host. This setup is for a small group, not a large company event.

Joining

Participants need a Tidbit account and an internet connection. Send the party code or link to the people you want to invite.

Talking together

Use your existing meeting or voice-call tool. Tidbit handles the trivia game, not the call.

Scoring

Participants play through their own accounts. A group of colleagues is not the same as a built-in team-versus-team scoring format.

Prepare before the meeting

1. Choose a host and open Party in advance to check the available hosting options.
2. Ask everyone to sign in before the planned start, then share the invite.
3. Pick accessible subjects and a comfortable difficulty for the first round.
4. Leave a few minutes after the game to talk about surprising answers.

Make the first round welcoming

Explain how the chosen game ends before you begin. A short warm-up lets people learn the controls without feeling as though they have already missed the activity. Ask about the pace afterwards and adjust the next round to suit the group.

Avoid making knowledge of one colleague’s specialist subject the only way to do well. A broader mix gives people more ways into the conversation. If everyone is in the same room and you prefer a cooperative activity, sharing one Freeplay screen is another informal option.
