Use separate devices

Open Party. Everyone signs in and joins the host’s party with its code or link. Party provides the shared game rather than relying on people opening separate solo quizzes.

Play from different homes

Use Party alongside your usual voice or video call. Tidbit does not provide the call itself.

Give mixed ages room to join in

Start with a comfortable difficulty and subjects the group knows. Before beginning, agree whether answers are individual or whether people sitting together will discuss them. For an informal shared-screen game, rotate the reader so the fastest reader does not always control the pace.

Tidbit is intended for ages 13 and over. If older kids or teens are joining, you can read and discuss the questions together. The question bank is not filtered by age. Difficulty settings change the challenge rather than creating a separate children’s question bank.

A simple first evening

1. Choose one person to host or control the shared screen.
2. Try a short warm-up before keeping any informal family score.
3. Ask everyone whether the pace and topics feel right, then adjust the next game.
4. Finish while people still want another round. You can come back without committing to a long session.

Before you invite everyone

Party needs an internet connection and a Tidbit account for each participant, and has space for up to 10 people including the host. Open Party ahead of time to check your hosting options. For a free solo or shared-screen start, use Freeplay on Home.
