Set up a relaxed first game

1. Open Home and find Freeplay. If the Daily Question appears first, answer it to reach Freeplay.
2. Open the settings on the Freeplay card and choose Relaxed difficulty. Adjust it again if the questions feel too easy or too difficult.
3. Read the question and answer choices aloud. Give your child time to choose before you reveal the answer.
4. Open the explanation and talk about what made the answer interesting. Stop whenever you have had enough.

Choose conversation over a score

For your first session, share one screen and answer as a pair. A grown-up can help with unfamiliar words while the child makes the choice. Freeplay has no round timer or lives to lose, so a difficult question does not need to end the game.

Try taking turns being the reader. When you disagree, each person can explain their guess before you choose an answer together. A handful of questions is enough for a short activity; you do not have to finish a long quiz.

What to know before playing

Tidbit is intended for ages 13 and over. It uses a general knowledge question bank, with no kids-only content filter or questions graded by age. Relaxed changes the difficulty rather than filtering the topics. Choose the experience together and help with unfamiliar subjects.
