What is the capital of Jordan?
Answer
Amman
The city was once called Philadelphia after the Macedonian Greek ruler of Egypt, Ptolemy II, who took control of it around 255 BC. A Roman theatre built into a hillside in the 2nd century AD still stands and seated some six thousand spectators in its day.
